Thankful For A Body of Flesh And Bone


BODY


     The mortal, physical structure of flesh and bones created in God’s image that is combined with a spirit to make up a living person. The physical bodies of all men and women will be reunited eternally with their spirits in the resurrection. The scriptures sometimes refer to a body and spirit joined together as a soul (Gen. 2:7D&C 88:15;Moses 3:7, 9, 19Abr. 5:7).
     The Lord God formed man of the dust of the groundGen. 2:7 (Moses 3:7).
     Handle me and see, for a spirit has not flesh and bonesLuke 24:39
